Abstract:

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission 2015 bear hunting rules required that every harvested bear be removed from the field and checked at an FWC staffed check station.

Purpose:

This GIS point dataset depicts the locations of the check stations staffed for the 2015 bear hunt.

Supplemental_Information:

This shapefile contains the locations of 33 check stations which includes numbers of harvested bears that were checked at each location. Note: there are 6 bears not included in the harvested numbers contained in this dataset since they were not brought into a check station.
