Abstract:
This Feature Class depicts benthic cover (seagrass, hardbottom and sand) in Spring Coast offshore waters. This map was developed as part of a cooperative effort with SWFWMD: Springs Coast Seagrass Remote Sensing Pilot Project, Phase II. Refer to the final report for this project for more details.
Purpose:
The purpose of this project was to test the use of WorldView-2 satellite imagery as a data source for mapping the western extent of seagrass off the Spring Coast study area.
