Abstract:

This Shapefile is a graphical depiction of Areas closed to traping in Pennekamp State Park as defined in 68B-24.0065 of the Florida Administrative Code. These areas are closed to lobster traps, blue crab traps, and stone crab traps during the regular lobster season.

Purpose:

This data set was created to illustrate areas closed to traps in Pennekamp State Park

Supplemental_Information:

Prior to July 1, 2004, the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute (FWRI) was known as the Florida Marine Research Institute (FMRI). The institute name has not been changed in historical data sets or references to work completed by the Florida Marine Research Institute. The institute name has been changed in references to ongoing research, new research, and contact information.
