Abstract:
This GIS data set represents the state of Florida Pompano Endorsement Zone as described in the Florida Administrative Code (FAC) Rule Numbers 68B-35.002 and 68B-35.005.
Purpose:
This GIS data set was developed to spatially represent the regulation areas for general reference only. In the event of conflict between this data set and the zones as described in the FAC, the descriptions in the FAC shall prevail.
Supplemental_Information:
Prior to July 1, 2004, the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute (FWRI) was known as the Florida Marine Research Institute (FMRI). The institute name has not been changed in historical data sets or references to work completed by the Florida Marine Research Institute. The institute name has been changed in references to ongoing research, new research, and contact information.
